The Centre organised a training course on “Manual Card, Smart Card and Civil Registration Systems” on 26-28 January 2015 at the Office of Central Statistics Organization (CSO), Afghanistan. The training course was provided by Mr. Mohammad Karimi, Director of Information Systems Analysis and Design Department, National Organization for Civil Registration of Iran.

The three day course successfully came to an end through different group discussions as well as brain storming sessions to find solutions of different obstacles. The training course on “Manual Card, Smart Card and Civil Registration Systems” mainly focused on the following subjects;

• Functioning of civil registration system
• Birth registration
• Marriage registration
• Divorce registration
• ID Card and e ID Card
