SESRIC held a ceremony at its Headquarters in Ankara to mark the handover of duties from the outgoing Director General, H.E. Mr. Nebil Dabur, to the new Director General, H.E. Ms. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk.

H.E. Mr. Musa Kulaklıkaya, Assistant Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, was also present during the event. The outgoing Director General, H.E. Mr. Nebil Dabur, was commended for his dedicated leadership during his tenure. In his farewell speech, he expressed his gratitude to the SESRIC staff and conveyed his confidence in his successor.

The new Director General, H.E. Ms. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served previously as the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye. During her speech, she thanked the SESRIC staff for their warm welcome and pledged to continue the organization's mission.

SESRIC plays a significant role in enhancing the cooperation among OIC member countries in various socio-economic areas and fields. SESRIC remains committed to its mission and looks forward to continuing its efforts to support the socio-economic development of its member states.

The ceremony concluded with the exchange of plaquettes between the outgoing and new Director Generals. SESRIC wishes H.E. Mr. Nebil Dabur all the best in his future endeavours and extends a warm welcome to H.E. Ms. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk as she assumes her new role.
