The Third Summer School on Islamic Economics and Finance was jointly organised by SESRIC and Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, International Research and Study Centre of Islamic Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) in Istanbul, Turkey during 27-31 August 2016.

The program consisted of a 40 hours of training with total duration of 5 days. The training included theoretical and practical lectures, and focused on the following topics:

• Islamic Moral Economics
• Contemporary Economic Systems and Islamic Economics
• Institutional Structure of Islamic Economics
• Methodology of Islamic Economics
• History of Islamic Economic Thought
• Evolution of Islamic Economic Views

The teaching staffs of the programme were prominent professors and practitioners who have publications in national and international arenas in Islamic economics and finance.
