In accordance with its 2018 Annual Work Plan and within the framework of Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised the Statistics Course on ‘Analytical and Critical Thinking’ at the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) of Republic of Albania on 3-4 September 2018.

Ms. Ema Tusianti, Head of Cross-Sector Statistical Analysis Section at the BPS-Statistics Indonesia, conducted the Statistics Course with the participation of 23 officials of INSTAT of Albania.

The Statistics Course on ‘Analytical and Critical Thinking’ included discussion activities with a focus on the following topics:

• Official Statistics for Evidence Based Policy;
• Quantitative Data Analysis and Inference; and
• Data Dissemination
