SESRIC organised the Study Visit on ‘Labour Statistics’ on 31 October - 02 November 2018 in Cairo, Egypt within the framework of OIC Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme. Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) of Egypt hosted the study visit with the participation of two statisticians from Libyan Bureau of Statistics and Census (LBSC).

The Study Visit aimed to strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions in the field of labour statistics, and exchange knowledge on how to design labour force surveys and collect, collate and disseminate the data as well as the classifications, methodology, sampling and concepts used for measurement of decent work, SDGs, form of work, and quality of employment as well as the international standards on labour statistics.
