Pursuant to the Executive Programme for the Implementation of OIC Framework for Cooperation on Labour, Employment and Social Protection 2019/2020, and within the framework of the OIC Capacity Building Programme for Public Employment Services, SESRIC organized a training course on “Skills Development and Entrepreneurship” on 6-8 October 2019, in Djibouti City, Djibouti, in cooperation with National Agency for Employment and Independent Work of Tunisia.

The agents and managers from the Ministry of Labour in charge of Administrative Reform of Djibouti benefited from the course. Mrs. Awatef Miraoui, First Adviser in Microenterprise and Chief of Service of the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work of Tunisia, conducted the course.

The course included discussions and practical activities with a focus on the following topics:

• Skills development plan
• Role of training in the development of know-how
• Training as a tool for human capital development
• Entrepreneurship
• Entrepreneurial spirit
