SESEIC delegation headed by H.E Mr. Nebil DABUR, Director General, participated in the 6th Istanbul Mediation Conference that took place in Istanbul on 31 October 2019. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey with the participation of the United Nations Secretary General High-level Advisory Board on Mediation. The conference was inaugurated by the Honorable Secretary General of the United Nations, H.E Mr. Antonio Guterres and the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, H.E Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Issues such as synergy among policy-makers, diplomats, international organizations, NGOs, businesses, women, youth and mediators; avoiding fragmentation and duplication of efforts and increasing complementarity, coordination and inclusion as well as the role of technology were explored throughout the conference.
