Within the framework of SESRIC’s Competition Authorities Capacity Building Programme (CA-CaB), the Centre organized a training course on “Competition Law and Policy” on 05-09 October 2020 for the benefit of participants from the Tunisian Competition Council.

The training course was provided by competent experts from the Turkish Competition Authority through a video conferencing platform. The course provided insights into various aspects of the competition law and policy such as market definition and study, cartels, agreements and their exceptions, mergers and acquisition as well as the abuse of dominant position among many others.

This training course was designed in line with the virtual training solutions undertaken by SESRIC in order to better serve the Centre’s training activities and keep participants motivated and engaged during this difficult time of the global crisis due to COVID-19 pandemic
