The Centre organised a five day training course on ‘‘Poverty Reduction Through Small-scale Fisheries’’ on 23-27 August 2015 in Mogadishu, Somalia, in collaboration with the Somali Development and Reconstruction Bank (SDRB).

The target group of that five day training course was the potential entrepreneurs of small-scale fisheries and staffs from different relevant institutions of Somalia. The training course was conducted by the two experts, Dr. Idris Miah, Professor, Department of Fisheries Management and Dr. Tanvir Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Aquaculture in Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Bangladesh.
