The Centre organised the 2^nd International Islamic Economics and Finance Conference on 11-13 September 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey, in collaboration with Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University International Research and Study Center of Islamic Economics and Finance, Albaraka Turk, Kuveyt Turk, Türkiye Finans, Participation Banks Association of Turkey (TKBB), Borsa İstanbul and World Bank Global Islamic Finance Development Center.

The conference was attended by academics, practitioners and researchers and aims to promote scientific studies and develop the related literature in the field of Islamic economics and finance.
