Statistics Course on ‘Human Settlements and Housing Statistics’ in Benin

In accordance with its 2018 Annual Work Plan and within the framework of Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised a Statistics Course on ‘Human Settlements and Housing Statistics’ on 27-29 November 2018 at the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Analysis (INSAE) of Republic of Benin.

The Statistics Course was be conducted by Ms. Akoisso Doria Deza, Director of Social Statistics and Households at the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Republic of Cote d'Ivoire, with the participation of 17 officials of the INSAE of Republic of Benin.

The Course included discussion activities with a focus on the following topics:

  • Housing Statistics
  • Introduction to indicators
  • Data processing of housing statistics
  • Data analysis
  • Case Studies and their results
