H.E. Amb. Cenk URAZ, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Djibouti, and H.E. Amb. Aden Houssein ABDILLAHI, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Republic of Türkiye, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK on 01 June 2023 at the SESRIC Headquarters.

The Ambassadors extended their congratulations to H.E. SELÇUK on her appointment as the Director General of SESRIC, while expressing the intention to explore further opportunities of collaboration, focusing on common objectives and mutual areas of interest.

During the visit, the esteemed diplomats engaged in fruitful discussions on ways and means to enhance collaboration between their respective countries and SESRIC. H.E. Amb. URAZ and H.E. Amb. ABDILLAHI expressed their commitment to fostering deeper cooperation and exploring new opportunities for partnership.

H.E. SELÇUK, in turn, expressed her gratitude to both ambassadors for their visit and reaffirmed SESRIC's commitment to promoting cooperation among OIC countries, emphasizing the significance of cooperation and the shared vision of socioeconomic development within the Islamic world. In addition, she highlighted the crucial role that OIC African countries play within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) agenda, emphasizing the need to further enhance the cooperation.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with all parties expressing their determination to work together and explore concrete actions for the benefit of the member countries.
