SESRIC hosted a coordination meeting with the Social Security Institution (SGK) of Türkiye at its Headquarters in Ankara, Türkiye, to discuss potential collaboration opportunities between the two institutions.

During the meeting, SESRIC provided a briefing on the Centre’s activities under its Social Security Institutions Capacity Building Programme, as well as other initiatives that contribute to the advancement of the domain.

Representatives of SGK expressed their Institution’s desire to further strengthen the ties with Social Security Institutions and relevant Ministries in the OIC countries. In particular, they emphasised their readiness to share SGK’s expertise and best practices in various areas, including digitalization and service delivery, with their counterparts in other OIC countries.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a focus on enhancing knowledge exchange, capacity building and promoting efficient social security systems.
