SESRIC actively participated in the 24^th Regular Session of the OIC Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC), held from November 24–28, 2024, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK addressed the opening ceremony, drawing attention to the pressing challenges in health care equity and the potential of Islamic guidance to provide solutions. She also outlined SESRIC’s efforts in supporting OIC countries across various socio-economic domains through research studies, the preparation of strategic documents, and training activities under its 24 Capacity Building Programmes (CaBs) including IbnSina Health Capacity Building Programme, Occupational Safety and Health Capacity Building Programme, Poverty Alleviation Capacity Building Programme, Social Development Capacity Building Programme, and Tobacco Free OIC Capacity Building Programme.
