SESRIC and the Ministry of Economy of the Sultanate of Oman Sign MoU to Strengthen Economic and Financial Collaboration

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SESRIC the Ministry of Economy of the Sultanate of Oman was signed at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara on 28 October 2024.

The MoU was signed by H.E. Mrs. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, Director General of SESRIC, and H.E. Dr. Nasser Rashid AL MAWALI, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of H.E. Mr. Saif Rashid AL JAHWARI, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Ankara, with the main aim of establishing a stronger partnership through joint collaborations between SESRIC and the Esteemed Ministry.

During the ceremony, H.E. SELÇUK briefed the delegation on SESRIC’s activities in various socio-economic domains, including those attended by representatives from various national institutions in Oman, highlighting the importance of increasing intra-OIC cooperation through the exchange of expertise and good practices.

The signing of this MoU marks the establishment of a solid framework for cooperation between SESRIC and the Ministry of Economy, aimed at exploring and implementing collaborative initiatives that contribute to economic development efforts in OIC Member Countries.
