SESRIC Participates in First Public Finance Forum on Public Debt Management in Istanbul

SESRIC is pleased to announce its participation in the inaugural Public Finance Forum on "Public Debt Management in a Changing World: Sustainable Strategies to Face Global Economic Challenges", which will take place from 18–19 June 2025 in Istanbul, Turkiye.

Organized as part of the activities of the Sharjah Award for Public Finance, the Forum will bring together high-level experts, policymakers, and financial leaders from across the globe to explore forward-looking strategies in managing public debt amid growing global economic uncertainty.

Representing SESRIC at the Forum will be Dr. Ipek Dedeoglu, who will deliver a presentation titled “Navigating Global Headwinds: Economic Outlook and Key Challenges for OIC Member Countries.” Her session will highlight critical macroeconomic trends, emerging risks, and fiscal challenges facing countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), while offering insights on sustainable debt management approaches in the context of global financial shifts.

The Forum serves as a platform to foster dialogue, share experiences, and promote innovation in public finance, aligning with SESRIC’s ongoing commitment to support capacity building and policy development among OIC member states.
