The Statistical Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), in its capacity as the Executing Organ of the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), is set to host a series of OIC-VET Consultative Meetings.

The first OIC-VET Consultative Meeting will be conducted in French on 25 August 2025 through an online video conferencing platform. It will be participated by senior representatives from Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Authorities and relevant national institutions in French-speaking OIC member countries.

The primary objective of this Consultative Meeting is to explore the challenges and opportunities in TVET sector in order to identify the key directions that will shape the new strategic roadmap of the OIC-VET Programme. The meeting will also evaluate the current organisational structure of OIC-VET with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness and impact of the Programme.
