SESRIC, as the Executing Organ of the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), is hosting a series of OIC-VET Consultative Meetings to draft the ten-year OIC TVET Strategic Roadmap 2026–2035.

The second OIC-VET consultative meeting will take place online in Arabic on 15 October 2025. It will bring together senior representatives from Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) authorities and relevant national institutions in Arabic-speaking OIC countries. Participants will discuss key issues related to the TVET Programme, to strengthen collaboration and advance vocational education across the OIC.

The primary objective of the meeting is to explore the emerging challenges and opportunities in TVET field to identify the key strategic directions that will shape the new strategic vision of the OIC-VET. It will also review the current organisational structure of OIC-VET to improve the effectiveness and impact of the programme.
