H.E. Hakan FIDAN, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, and H.E. Hissein Brahim TAHA, Secretary-General of the OIC, addressed the 51st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul on 22 June 2025.

At the session, Türkiye assumed the one-year rotating chairmanship of the Council from Cameroon. H.E. FIDAN reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to justice and called for unity in addressing regional crises. H.E. TAHA condemned Israeli attacks on Gaza and Iran, reaffirmed OIC solidarity, and highlighted the work of OIC Special Envoys on Kashmir, Afghanistan, Islamophobia, Africa and the Rohingya crisis, calling for stronger collective action.
