H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, addressed the 8^th Session of the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers (ICHM), held on 8-9 October 2025 in Amman.

In her remarks, H.E. SELÇUK underscored SESRIC’s key role in supporting OIC countries’ efforts to strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes through evidence-based research, data dissemination, and capacity-building initiatives. She also announced the launch of the OIC Health Report 2025, which provides a comprehensive analytical overview of a decade of OIC health cooperation under the OIC Strategic Health Programme of Action (OIC-SHPA 2014–2023).

Since the 7^th Session of the ICHM, SESRIC has implemented more than 50 health-related capacity-building activities, benefiting nearly three thousand experts in fields such as health information systems, disease surveillance, maternal and child health, and emergency preparedness.
