Within the framework of the SESRIC’s Tourism Capacity Building Programme (Tourism-CaB), the Centre, in collaboration with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), will organise a training course on “Advancing Entrepreneurship in Rural Tourism” on 6-7 January 2026 via an online video conferencing platform.

The primary aim of the training course is to enhance the institutional and human capacities of OIC Member Countries in developing sustainable, comprehensive, and competitive rural tourism sectors. The training seeks to improve the knowledge and skills of relevant professionals in fostering entrepreneurship, diversifying rural economies, promoting cultural and natural heritage, and supporting community-based tourism initiatives.
