SESRIC welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives to its headquarters on 23 October 2025. The delegation was headed by H.E. Sheryna Abdul SAMAD, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Maldives.

During the visit, the delegation received a briefing on the history, structure and mission of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as an overview of SESRIC’s activities in statistics, research, training and technical cooperation. The visit provided an opportunity to share information on the Centre’s work in support of OIC Member Countries.
