SESRIC participated on 11 December 2025 in an expert panel entitled “The Role of Creative Industries in Increasing Investment and Trade in OIC Countries” during the OIC Cultural Festival: Baku Creative Week 2025. The panel was jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT).

SESRIC delivered a presentation entitled “Capacity Building and Human Capital Development for Sustainable Creative Industries”, emphasising the need to strengthen skills, knowledge and institutional capacities to support creative industries in OIC countries. The presentation highlighted youth empowerment through digital literacy, creative entrepreneurship, design thinking and the production of culturally rooted content as important areas for sustainable growth in the sector.
