H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mohammed Ali LAZREQ, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Türkiye.

During the meeting, H.E. SELÇUK underscored SESRIC’s strong commitment to enhancing technical collaboration with relevant national institutions in Morocco. She highlighted the Centre’s readiness to expand and formalise this cooperation through potential Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), with a view to supporting institutional development and capacity enhancement in priority areas.

H.E. SELÇUK also emphasised SESRIC’s longstanding engagement with Morocco, noting that the Centre has to date organised over 300 capacity-building activities, benefiting a wide range of Moroccan public institutions. These initiatives reflect the depth of cooperation and Morocco’s active participation in SESRIC’s programmes and activities.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to deepening collaboration between SESRIC and the Kingdom of Morocco, in support of sustainable development objectives and the broader goals of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
