A delegation from SESRIC, led by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, will participate in the 26th Regular Session of the OIC Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC), scheduled to take place on 14–18 December 2025 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Session will bring together representatives of the OIC-IPHRC Member States, specialised experts from international organisations, and delegates from OIC Member and Observer States as well as their National Human Rights Institutions.

On the sidelines of the 26th Session, IPHRC will organise a discussion session on “Development of Young People in the OIC Member States: Challenges and Opportunities from a Humanitarian Perspective,” in line with the Commission’s view that empowering young people and promoting their active participation are essential for advancing sustainable development and human rights across the OIC. SESRIC has been invited to take part in this exchange, highlighting its relevant efforts and achievements and enriching the discussion with its pioneering expertise in this field.

SESRIC’s participation reflects its continued commitment to supporting Member States in strengthening evidence-based policymaking and advancing collective OIC efforts aimed at enhancing the well-being and prospects of young people across the region.
