SESRIC hosted at its Headquarters the Uzbekistan Students Community in Ankara. The visit aimed at deepening the students’ understanding of the works of SESRIC and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for the member countries.

The students learnt more about the SESRIC Emerging Talents Capacity Building Programme (SET-CaB) which offers a valuable opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals of the Centre from various fields within the framework of an international organisation, thereby enhancing their skills and knowledge.

The visit also allowed close interaction and interactive presentation alongside discussions related to socio-economic development at both OIC and global levels, providing a unique environment for learning. This visit strengthened SESRIC’s ties with the Uzbek students studying in Ankara as well as fostered knowledge exchange with them.

The Centre regularly welcomes groups of students from the OIC countries pursuing their higher education in Türkiye to enrich their understanding of the works of SESRIC in statistics, research, and training and technical cooperation, and contribution of SESRIC to the socio-economic development of the OIC countries.
