Training Course on ‘Promoting Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Agriculture Sector’
Date: 13-14 January 2026
Venue: Virtual-SESRIC, Ankara - Türkiye

Within the framework of its Occupational Safety and Health Capacity Building (OSH-CaB) Programme, SESRIC, in collaboration with the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia, will organise a Training Course on “Promoting Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Agriculture Sector” on 13–14 January 2026 through an online video-conferencing platform.

The training aims to equip participants with a solid understanding of occupational health and safety risks in the agriculture sector, provide practical guidance on the safe operation of machinery and proper handling of chemicals, and strengthen their capacity to identify and respond to environmental hazards, while promoting safe and sustainable work practices. In doing so, the programme seeks to support organisations in reducing workplace accidents, ensuring compliance with OSH regulations, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a safer and more sustainable agricultural sector.

The Occupational Safety and Health Capacity Building (OSH-CaB) is an initiative launched by SESRIC in 2010 to support the efforts of the OIC Member Countries in improving workplace safety and health. For more information about OSH-CaB, please visit: https://www.sesric.org/cbp-ohs.php.
