H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK delivered an address on the occasion of 'Youm-e-Istehsal e Kashmir' — the Day of Exploitation, organised by the Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara on 5 August 2026.  

 

She reaffirmed the support of OIC for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, acknowledging their legitimate struggle for self-determination and reiterating the commitment to their just cause.  

 

H.E. SELÇUK recalled that the OIC has consistently upheld its principled position on the issue, most recently at the 51^st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul in June 2025, which once again reaffirmed steadfast support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
