H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Akram Ahmed ELGOUHARY, President of the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS).

The two sides reviewed the long-standing cooperation between SESRIC and CAPMAS under the Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, in which CAPMAS has served as both beneficiary and provider, hosting study visits and sharing its expertise with other OIC countries.

They also discussed ways and means to further strengthen cooperation through signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and organising StatCaB activities for other OIC countries, drawing on CAPMAS’s expertise, particularly in health-related statistics.
