SESRIC participated in the Best of Entrepreneurship (BOE), Asia Series, organised by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) on 23 September 2026 in Karachi, Pakistan.

Held under the theme “Globalizing Creativity,” BOE Asia aimed to explore how culture, technology, AI, and creative industries are shaping the future of entrepreneurship and economic growth.

SESRIC contributed to the programme through a Spotlight Presentation titled "Women’s Empowerment in the Creative Industries: Trends, Challenges and Prospects". The presentation set the stage by examining the available data globally and at the OIC level related to women’s participation in labour market with particular emphasis on creative industries.

Furthermore, the presentation concluded with a set of policy recommendations geared towards empowering women in the creative industries through investing in skills, finance, market access, and intellectual property protection, while also strengthening mentoring, networks, and social protections that help women creators grow and thrive.

The BOE Series is a premier platform connecting entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders to drive business growth and innovation. Through insightful discussions and collaborations, it empowers stakeholders to navigate challenges, explore opportunities, and shape the future of various industries.
