SESRIC participated in a regional seminar on “Financial Inclusion Strategies in South East Asia: Methodology and Perspectives” which jointly organized by Association of National Development Finance Institutions in Member Countries of the Islamic Development Bank (ADFIMI) and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited on 28 – 29 March 2017 in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The seminar aimed at reviewing the importance and status of the financial inclusion in the World as well as in South Asia in terms of conventional and Islamic finance. The overall objective of the two-day program was to create awareness on the importance of financial inclusion, as well as to assess the state of financial inclusion in South Asia and study the good practices in conventional and Islamic Microfinance and Micro Takaful application in South Asia Region.
