SESRIC organized a Training Course on “Postal Codes and Addressing System” within the framework of the OIC Postal Services Capacity Building Programme (OIC-PSCaB) on 16-18 May 2017 in Ramallah, Palestine. The course was provided by 2 experts from PTT, Turkey, Mr. Yakup Kadri KAYA, and Mr. Ali MANAS. The target group of this training course was experts from General Administration of Post, Palestine. The training course on “Postal Codes and Addressing System” mainly focused on the following topics:

• Advantages of using postal code and good Addressing System

• Address and Postal Code formats by country
• Turkey’s Address Database Infrastructure
• Collaborations between Turkey and Palestine about Addressing System

The Third Day:

• Recent Reviews
• On-site examination and evaluation of the administrative and local structure of Palestine
