Within the framework of the Bina Initiative, SESRIC delivered a tailored-made Training of Trainers (ToT) Course on Entrepreneurship and SME Development to 14 trainers from Libya during the period 17-22 September 2019 at the premises of Bina Incubator in Istanbul, Turkey, in partnership with local techno-parks, incubators, business hubs and local companies.

The 6-day ToT course included, among others, training methodologies and dynamics; training manual and procedural process; one-on-one training on the curriculum of the entrepreneurship and SMEs development material; BINA Programme objectives and activities, through combining interactive training sessions, practical sessions, site visits, workshop and pitching sessions.

As per the needs assessment report prepared earlier in collaboration with Libyan Programme for Reintegration and Development (LPRD), the course aimed at upgrading on major knowledge and skills, including deliverables (such as timesheets, post-test/evaluation results, and recommendations) in order for trainers to carry out local training of entrepreneurs, SMEs and mentors in Libya. Also considered was developing a post-test evaluation for the trainers to evaluate the impact of the training on their knowledge/skills/ and attitude towards entrepreneurship and SME development.
