H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Dr. Ebrahim Yusuf Al-ABDULLAH, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Türkiye. The visit aimed to strengthen ties and explore potential areas for collaboration.

During the meeting, H.E. SELÇUK expressed gratitude for the warm reception and acknowledged Bahrain's active role and significant contributions at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) level. She provided a brief overview of SESRIC’s work in its mandate areas, emphasizing its work relevant to Bahrain.

SESRIC has conducted a total of 52 capacity-building activities for Bahrain, with Bahrain reciprocating by providing experts for various capacity-building activities. Bahrain's active engagement is noted in all SESRIC technical reports on social and economic matters.

Both parties discussed potential collaborations, including eco-tourism, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and other themes aiming to be benefitted not only by Bahrain but also by the broader OIC community. The meeting underlined the need for continuous cooperation to enhance skills and capacities across socio-economic domains.
