SESRIC and the Union of News Agencies (UNA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the 8^th Annual Coordination Meeting of the OIC Institutions (ACMOI), renewing the ongoing collaboration between the two OIC institutions.

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, and H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rabbo ALYAMI, Director General of UNA, signed the MoU on 5 December 2024, aiming to further strengthen collaboration between the two OIC institutions in areas of common interest.

The MoU will facilitate the contributions of both the Centre and the Union to the visibility and awareness of the activities, initiatives, and projects implemented by the OIC and its institutions. It also aims to support the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and capacity-building initiatives for the benefit of OIC Member Countries.

The UNA operates within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and serves as an umbrella and a training center for news agencies.
