SESRIC will participate in the 69^th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), which will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA on 10-21 March 2025.

The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the primary intergovernmental platform specifically designed to promote the rights and empowerment of women. This year’s session CSW69 will celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women and the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995). In this regard, the main focus of this year's gathering will be on the review and appraisal of the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and the outcomes of the 23^rd special session of the General Assembly. Participants will assess the current challenges hindering the implementation of the Platform for Action and explore recommendations to advance gender equality in alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
