Within the framework of the SESRIC Project on “Developing an Effective Roadmap for Facilitating Digital Transition in National VET Systems in OIC Member Countries”, which is funded under the 12th Call for Project Proposals of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) Project Funding, the Centre will organise a Workshop on “Developing Roadmap for Vocational Education and Training Systems Across OIC Member Countries” on 24-25 September 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The workshop will bring together senior-level experts and policymakers from TVET authorities, relevant ministries, and national institutions responsible for digitalization and education policy development across OIC countries.

The workshop will focus on the digital transformation of Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems across OIC countries. Its primary aim is to discuss and refine the draft roadmap developed during the online Working Group Meeting on “Facilitating Digital Transition of National VET Systems in OIC Countries.” This strategic document will provide OIC countries with crucial guidance to integrate digital technologies, thereby improving the quality, accessibility, and relevance of their VET programme.
