SESRIC organised a Study Visit for the Capacity Development of the Libyan Program for Reintegration and Development (LPRD) on 08 - 15 April 2019 in Ankara and Istanbul, Turkey.

The visit was organised within the framework of the BINA Program carried out in partnership between SESRIC, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Libyan Program for Reintegration and Development (LPRD).

The purpose of the study visit was to provide a deep insight into the Turkish development experience through direct interaction with a number of influential public institutes, think tanks, universities and NGOs in different fields with the aim of gaining an inclusive understanding of the strategies, methodologies and techniques that were fundamental in making sustainable development successes.

In addition, through learning from the Turkish experience in public policies and institutionalized developments, the visit aimed to help upgrade the capacity of the LPRD in supporting the public administration reforms and development strategies in Libya.
