SESRIC participated in the 17^th Session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Statistical Committee, hosted by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) of Oman in Al Jabal Al Akhdar, Sultanate of Oman, on 8–10 September 2026.

SESRIC, in collaboration with the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, co-organised the 1^st Muslim Diaspora Forum of the OIC Member States, entitled “From Roots to Routes”, on 8–9 September 2026 in Ankara.

The OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (OIC-COMSTECH), OIC General Secretariat and SESRIC have jointly organised the online training “Building a Resilient Water Future: A 3-Day Intensive Training on Inclusive Governance, Data-Driven Decision Making, and Project Mobilization for Water Security in OIC Member States” from 7 to 9 September 2026 in collaboration with the national and regional stakeholders.

Within the framework of the COMCEC Project Funding under its 13th Call for Project Proposals, SESRIC organised an Experience-Sharing Workshop on “Strengthening Institutional and Human Capacities for Social Housing through Islamic Financial Mechanisms” on 7–8 September 2026 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Within the framework of its continuous efforts to strengthen institutional capacities and enhance the quality of its corporate communication, SESRIC organised a Training Course on "Effective Use of Social Media for Institutional Communication" for its staff members on 24 August 2026 at its HQs. The training was organised in collaboration with the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
